Cookie Policy
Last updated: 29 April 2026
1. The short version
We do not use analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies on this site. The only cookie we set is a single session cookie that keeps a signed-in administrator logged in to the back office. Ordinary visitors browsing our public pages will not have any cookies set by us.
2. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, or to make them work more efficiently, as well as to provide information to the owners of the site.
3. Cookies we use
| Name | Purpose | Type | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
cps.sid | Keeps an authorised administrator signed in to the back office at /admin. Set only after a successful admin login. Never set for visitors browsing the public site. | Strictly necessary (first-party, HTTP-only) | Session — expires on logout or after a period of inactivity. |
4. Cookies we do not use
We do not run Google Analytics, Plausible, PostHog, Hotjar, Facebook Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, or any other third-party analytics, advertising, or behavioural tracking on this website. We do not embed third-party widgets that set tracking cookies.
5. Why we do not show a cookie banner
Under the Irish ePrivacy Regulations (S.I. 336/2011) and EU guidance, consent is required for cookies that are not strictly necessary for the service the user has requested. The single cookie described above is strictly necessary for the back-office login and is exempt from the consent requirement. If we ever introduce analytics or other non-essential cookies, we will update this policy and add a consent banner before doing so.
6. Controlling cookies
You can clear or block cookies at any time using your browser's settings. Blocking the cps.sid cookie will prevent administrators from logging in to the back office, but it will not affect your ability to browse the public website.
